REQUIREMENTS

To get the most out of the Seminar, it's best to have experience with other retreats already and to be able to say "I have had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ".


COST

$125

Includes your bed for the weekend, 3 meals on Saturday, and 2 meals on Sunday.


GROUPS

If you buy 5 tickets, the 6th ticket is FREE.

ARRIVAL TIME

7-8 PM, Friday, October 25

Eat dinner before arriving. Come to the Centro main door at 826 E. 166th St.

PARKING

Free (but limited) parking.

The parking lot gate will be open if space is still available. The parking lot gate is on Prospect Ave., right next to St. Anthony of Padua Church.

CONCLUDING MASS

3:00 PM, Sunday, October 27

A bilingual Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, next to the Centro.
Families are invited to come participate. No helium balloons are allowed in the church.

PLEASE BRING

  • A positive attitude.
  • Towel.
  • Pajamas and sandals. (Our bathrooms and rooms are comfortable but are shared with others.)
  • Any medicines you take, plus soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.
  • A Bible. (Very highly recommended. Bibles are available for purchase at the Centro bookstore.)
  • A Rosary. (You'll need one. Rosaries are also available at the Centro bookstore.)
  • Money (optional) or a credit card (optional) for any purchases at our bookstore or at the soda or candy machines during the retreat.


PLEASE DON'T BRING

  • Food. There will be plenty.
  • Sheets. Your bed will already be made for you.
  • Very expensive items or large quantities of money. The Centro is not responsible for anything that goes missing.
  • Electronic devices. Once the retreat begins, cell phones are stored in a secure locked location until the end of the retreat.


PROHIBITED AT THE CENTRO

  • Alcohol.
  • Drugs (including marijuana as "edibles" or in any other form).
  • Anything for smoking or vaping (including "pens").
  • Anything indecent or dangerous.


CONFESSION

There may be limited opportunities for Confession during the retreat.


CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, AND REFUNDS

Any change to the number of "mens tickets" or "womens tickets" can be made only by calling the Centro office at least 48 hours before the beginning of the retreat. That includes cancellations, refunds, and changing mens tickets for womens tickets or vice-versa. The full refunds policy is at this link (in Spanish).
